I would take to your local vet of choice for an accurate answer.

it could just be a bad blemish or something, my sisters cat always has weird stuff on her, its just because different types of cats have different skin types. LIke hers in an all white with green eyes so its "albino" i guess. Anyways thats your best bet and if it grows any bigger id DEFINATELY go to the vet, or even call the vet and ask them, but i bet you their first responce will be " bring ther cat in we’ll take a look". They need to feed their family too haha

your pet is probably sick and this could even be a type of cancer!!i recommend you take it to your vet for a bit of a check up so if it is cancer it doesn’t spread.other than that just give it some tlc and hope she gets better!!

The cat needs to see a vet for proper diagnosis and treatment, but your description of the growth being "squishy" reminds me of the latter stages of a bad, untreated infection right before it abcesses.

(I had an experience like this with an abcess on a cat’s throat. Boy was it nasty when it finally abcessed — I would not recommend waiting for any squishy lump to break open on its own. Bad. Very bad.)

Like I said, a vet visit is your best bet, but I’m thinking an infection in that spot could’ve been caused by something as innocent as a dirty hair follicle or bacteria on her plastic self-feeder. If it IS a late-stage infection — and again, only a vet can diagnose the growth — antibiotics and a vet-administered draining will help.

Good luck. I hope your kitty gets better.

Poor cat! This might be a pus in the jaw of the cat. You should go to a vet to look at your cat’s jaw and give you the right medicine for the cat. Good luck!

it could be a lot of things your vet will tell you what it is and if they are worried or unsure they will send it off to be tested.
goodluck

The most caring and responsible hin you can do now for your cat is to take her to a good vet to have her checked out. For one, any kind of "growth" that was not there before should be treated with suspicion and concern. It must be seen by the vet and perhaps biopsy’ed to rule out cancer. If it is a benign tumor, the vet could remove it in a simple procedure. Secondly, if the dog has been "harrassing" her, you should separate them becuase this can case undue stress on the cat and sicken her further. But first thing first, take your maine coon to see the vet ASAP.
