I’m looking for something to make feeding rice bran to deer easier. There has to be an easier way than what I’m doing.

I don’t think any thing is on the market that would do well with rice bran. A regular corn feeder wont work. The problem you will have with the rice bran is moisture will make it stick together and not go through the feeder. But it would be a great idea if someone could make one that would work with the rice bran.
I have been hunting for more than 28 years. I have invented an automatic rice bran feeder that I will be launching at the Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza in August. For now you can visit my website at palermooutdoors.com, or you can email me directly at palermooutdoors@gmail.com for further information.
Don’t buy one make your own, its VERY easy.
Materials needed: 4-5ft length 5-6" diameter PVC pipe, paint it green
Coffee can or an container that will fit over one ned of the PVC pipe.
Bungee cords or similar hardware.
All you do is find a tree, strap the PVC pipe to it vertically with the bungee cords, make sure that the bottom of the PVC pipe is about 1/2 to 1 inch off the ground. Fill the pipe with whatever feed you want and put the coffee can on top to cover the top open end of the pipe.
The feed will stay in the tube nice and dry until the deer come and eat enough to cause the feed to fall. This works wonders and have several of them set up in the woods with motion sensing game cameras on a near by tree pointed at the feeding tube. This way I can tell when they are around and for how long. Great inexpensive way to feed deer as long as you don’t mind donating some feed to squirrels and raccoons. Dont spend the money on expensive feeders!!!
If there aren’t any trees around im sure you could fashion some legs for the tube that would work just as well.
